Call us during office hours
If you have a toothache, swelling, a broken filling or a knocked tooth concern during our open hours, please call (780) 482-3636. We are a scheduled general dentistry office, not a 24 hour emergency room. Our usual hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
What we can often help with
- Toothache and sensitivity that need an exam
- A cracked or chipped tooth (see also cracked tooth and toothache)
- A lost filling or crown that needs assessment
- Swelling or infection concerns that need prompt dental attention during open hours
We cannot promise same day appointments. When you call, we will ask about your symptoms and advise whether we can see you, whether you should seek after hours medical care, or whether another resource fits better.
When to seek emergency medical care
If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, rapidly spreading facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Dental offices closed for the weekend cannot replace hospital emergency care.

After we see you
Depending on findings, next steps may include a filling, root canal therapy, an extraction, or a temporary repair. We explain options and costs before treatment whenever possible.

Frequently asked questions
Are you open evenings or weekends for emergencies?
No. We are open Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and closed Friday to Sunday. We do not offer 24 hour care.
Do you guarantee same day urgent visits?
No. Call during office hours and we will do our best to advise you based on urgency and schedule.
What if I am in severe pain after hours?
Seek appropriate medical emergency care if symptoms are severe, or contact an after hours dental resource in Edmonton. Call us when we reopen.
Can you help with a toothache?
Yes, during office hours we can examine the tooth and discuss treatment. See cracked tooth and toothache.
