Tooth Extractions Edmonton
We prioritize keeping natural teeth. When removal is the right choice, we explain why and keep you comfortable.
Removal is a last resort, not a first step
Our priority is to preserve your natural teeth. Before an extraction we look at whether root canal therapy, a crown, a filling or another option could keep the tooth. When removal is the healthier choice, we explain why and plan for your comfort.

What to expect
An uncomplicated extraction of an erupted tooth is different from a surgical approach that needs a flap or sectioning. We review your medical history, images and the plan, including anesthetic and any sedation options that suit you. Aftercare instructions are part of the visit.
Fees and codes (educational)
The public 2026 Alberta Dental Association Suggested Fee Guide lists suggested fees for uncomplicated erupted tooth removal (code 71101) and for more complicated surgical approaches (for example code 71201). These are suggested reference fees, not our office fees, and your case may differ. We provide an estimate before treatment. See fees and insurance.

After a tooth is gone
Missing teeth can affect chewing and neighbouring teeth. Options may include a bridge, a partial denture or an implant discussion. We talk through what fits your health and goals. Start with general dentistry or restorative dentistry.
